Cheese journey to England

Friday, October 28 to Tuesday, November 1st, 2022.

A cheese journey from beginning to end. We will be traveling from London to Wales visiting famous cheesemakers, iconic stores, and delicious cheeses and maturation rooms.

Following our ethos to Empower, Train, and Outreach within the cheese industry in Latin America, we created this tour to welcome travelers from the region and will offer discounts to small artisanal producers.

London

While in London we will visit some of the most iconic cheese shops in the city. Pleases that define cheese culture around the world today.

We will meet cheesemongers, distributors, and importers to hear from them about customer service, display, and selection.

To cap both days, we will dine at two restaurants where cheese is the start of the show.

Visits while in London:

  • 2 cheese importers and distributors
  • 6 cheese shops
  • 2 cheese restaurants

We will have an early start at 8AM on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Hotel and transportation in London not included in the tour price.

On tour

We will travel from London to the city of Newport in Wales. We will enjoy the countryside while we travel through England visiting well known cheesemakers.

We will visit producers of raw-milk cheeses, using traditional techniques to understand their process and insights into their practice.

We will arrive in Newport just in time to attend the World Cheese Awards 2022.

Visits in the field:

  • A producer of raw-milk blue cheese based in Nottinghamshire.
  • A producer of a Territorial style cheese.
  • Two producers of continental style cheeses.

We will travel in our own private van, to have better control of our times and ensure comfort for everyone.

This shorter trip starts on Sunday, October 30 at 9AM joining the rest of the group.

Hotel and transportation included in our journey outside London.
